Members of her household probably noticed Rika setting up for the party quite early in the afternoon. She bought some eggs, milk, etc. for baking and a few disgustingly sweet things --- and spicy things, for her own sanity-- to help keep Erika and her occupied. As evening comes closer, she has set aside some time to make a quick phonecall. ]

[ she's speaking in a surprisingly cutesy and cheerful voice, considering the usual tone of conversations were Hanyuu. ]
Hanyuu, are you there? I am having a friend, "Furudo Erika" over. I will make sweets tonight, so maybe you can come later this week and eat the leftovers? It would be nice to talk to you after the sleepover.
